I recently came across this beautifully simple to do list application and can’t recommend it highly enough. TeuxDeux is a web app that allows you to easily add daily to do’s and has a bunch of simple but useful features:
- Day-by-day layout and horizontal scrolling (Ajax) to easily access past and future to do’s.
- Incredibly easy to add, complete and delete tasks.
- Nice way of displaying and reading longer items added.
- Drag-and-drop reordering.
- Assign future to do’s to a general area rather than to a specific day.
Its crying out for an API, RSS, an iPhone app, synch with desktop software and the ability to email to do’s (like you can with Backpack) and I hope the company behind it has some of these things planned. There are also some smaller usability improvements that could be made (such as being able to scroll from week to week in addition to day to day) but its still a fun, simple and easy way to keep on top of weekly tasks.
